Crime Stoppers Passes 2 Billion Dollars in Property and Drug Recovery

Crime Stoppers programs across the country track basic statistics to measure progress and changes. These statistics reflect only a portion of the actual calls and information phoned in. The statistics to the left reflect the portion of the information called in that results in agency actions and where there have been charges laid.

We have now passed the 2 billion dollar mark in drugs and stolen property recovered through Crime Stopper tips.

Crime Stoppers provides citizens with a vehicle to anonymously supply the police with information about a crime or potential crime of which they have knowledge.

Cash rewards are offered to people who call the program if their information leads to an arrest.

Crime Stoppers is a Community Project supported by donations of money, goods or services. Contributions from individuals, corporations, clubs, professional associations, retailers, civic and social groups keep the Crime Stoppers program functional. All donations to a Crime Stoppers Society are tax deductible.
